How It Works
A small studio's answer to the questions people are too polite to ask out loud.
You don't need a manual. You want to know three things: will anyone find out, what does it actually feel like, and what happens if it's wrong. Fair questions. Five steps below, in the order they happen.
01 — After you check out
We pack by hand, Monday to Friday. That takes 1–3 business days. Then it's about two weeks on Standard, or about six days on Express.
Standard is $10, Express is $30, and Standard is on us once your subtotal passes $120.
The tracking link arrives by email the moment your parcel leaves the studio. Nothing else in between — no "we're preparing your order" noise, and no reminder about what you bought.
02 — The box at your door
Every order ships the same way, because we know what it's like to live with other people. Plain brown box. No product names anywhere. A sender that reads "CV Design Studio", and a card statement that says something equally unremarkable.
We wrote the longer version on our About page. One detail worth repeating here: your order number starts with #CV. Even the label doesn't read like a product.
Same box, every time.
03 — The first ten minutes
Charge it fully before the first use. Every piece ships with the cable it needs, and a full charge takes roughly one to two hours depending on the model.
Controls are deliberately minimal. On most models a single button does everything: press to wake, press again to step up, hold to turn off. No app, no pairing, no account.
Use water-based lubricant only. Silicone-based lubricant can bond with the material and dull the surface — it's the mistake almost everyone makes once.
How quiet it actually is
We measured every model at one metre, in a quiet room. All of them came in at 45 dB or lower — roughly a fridge humming in another room, and well under a normal conversation. A closed door pulls it down further, which is why nothing needs explaining to anyone.
What it feels like
Not like anything you've seen in a hurry. It rarely clicks on the first try, and that's normal — give it a few sessions.
Start on the lowest setting, give it ten minutes without a goal, and stop when you've had enough. There's no finish line to miss.
04 — Afterwards
Warm water and mild unscented soap, before and after. Running water is fine — just don't submerge anything with a charging port unless your model's card says you can.
Pat it dry rather than leaving it wet, and keep it somewhere it won't share a drawer with anything sharp. That's the whole routine: under a minute, and then it goes back to looking like it belongs on the shelf.
05 — If something goes wrong
We're a small studio. Sometimes an email takes a day because the person answering it is also packing boxes. We'd still rather hear it than have you quietly give up on something you bought.
Write to service@cocoonvibe.com with your order number and what happened. A real person reads every message, and we fix things.
- Damaged in transit — send a photo within 7 days, and we'll replace it or refund it.
- Mechanical fault — covered for 12 months.
- Unopened, changed your mind — 60 days.
- Opened and not for you — we can't take it back. Once an intimate product leaves the studio it can't be resold, which is exactly why the warranty runs 12 months instead of 30 days.
Questions we get asked more than once
Can I take it on a plane?
In hand luggage, yes. Rechargeable batteries aren't allowed in checked bags.
Who will know what's in the box?
Nobody. Plain brown box, "CV Design Studio" as the sender, nothing on the outside.
Do you ship to my country?
Most countries. If checkout accepts your address, we can ship there. You need to be 18 or over.
What if I open it and it isn't right for me?
Write to us. We'll be straight about whether it's a warranty case, and we'll tell you what to try before you give up on it.
Which one is for you
Two questions get you closer than any spec sheet.
Hands free, or in hand? Wearable pieces stay on without holding anything. Palm shapes are made to be held.
Direct, or diffuse? Pressure feels pinpoint. Air-pulse suction feels wider and softer — less like touching, more like a wave.
It's for the person who wants something that looks like it belongs on the nightstand, lives with walls thin enough to care, and would rather read a page than ask a person. If that's you, you're in the right place.
Invisible Joy. Visible Beauty.
